Executive Assistant to Chief Information Officer

Our client is a multinational investment bank with a presence in more than 40 countries. The firm operates a leading global corporate and investment bank, with a strong and growing presence in Hong Kong and across Asia Pacific.
 

About the Role
 
Reporting to the CIO and Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be a proactive, well-organized, a team player, demonstrating exceptional decision-making skills and seamless support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Proactively manage the CTO and Head of Ops complex calendars; scheduling local and international meetings and calls, appointments and travel arrangements

  • Arrange complex international travel itineraries (flights, visas, accommodations) across multiple time zones

  • Act as primary gatekeeper and point of contact between leadership and internal teams as well as external parties

  • Act as a bridge between the CTO and technology team of >450 employees globally

  • Track, reconcile, and submit business expenses in compliance with internal policies

  • Maintain a live record of past travel, interactions, and key contacts

  • Manage interaction logs, database and confidential information

  • Organize internal offsites, investor roundtables, and research calls, including logistics and materials

  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as necessary


About You

 

  • Degree holder with a minimum of 8-10 years' relevant experience, preferably within financial services or banking related industries

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to understand and quickly learn tech jargon

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under pressure

  • Highest level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
